Thoughts for Today

Thoughts for Today
I can not believe how fast the days are going by. Today is Sunday already and I have not blogged since telling about my visit to Chu Vision Institute on the 16th. Sorry about that. So much I want to share today. The weather is so cold that FiFi doesn’t even want to be outside. I was to go to the Peters home in Faribault this afternoon to celebrate Julies birthday but woke up with a sore throat and ear ache of all things. Certainly do not want to pass that around. So here I am. Have read the Star and Tribune, worked on crossword puzzle which I thouroughly enjoy doing and reading and printing more pages to the SEOBOOK. The Success pac I ordered from Growth Pro should be here tomorrow so will be able to start passing out my sizzle cards. I have about twenty leads to call on tomorrow. Excited to get started.
Have to share with you a great spiritual experience I had on Thursday evening of last week. I went to my Small Group meeting at my friend Pats home. Deanna, Lois and Harold along with Pat and I listened to some wonderful music in the backround and prayed ever so boldly to God to use his power to heal our friends Jean, Bob Paul and Ruthie who are suffering from cancer and other health crisis. Also the Olson children who are grieving the loss of there earthly father. One could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.
U.S. figure skating championships begin today at the St. Paul Xcel Energy Center. This mornings paper had quite a write-up about a young girl from Woodbury that will be interesting to watch. Her name is Samiera Abou-Nasr. She moved here from Omaha, Nebraska to be coached by Tom Incantalupo who had coached her in Omaha and because of his move to Minnesota, he convinced Samiera’s parents to move to St. Paul so he could coach her. Sounds like all the hard work from coach and student has paid off. Samiera will be skating with the best of them this week. I look forward to watching her. Figure skating is one of my favorite sports to watch. Always thought I would become a great skater when I was a young girl but that dream was never to happen.
I have a number I would like you to dial up and listen to the message. 1-866-611-1272

Chu Vision Institute

Yesterday was another day spent at the Chu Vision Institute. For me, this time. I had a 1:40 pm. appointment and got in on time. Wow! Let me tell you, that is one thorough examanation of the intricate eye. I mentioned earlier that I was going to be checked for cataracts and AMD which is age related macular degeneration. Well I give all the praise and glory to God for a normal range of AMD for my "age". Cataract in the right eye is ready to be removed so will schedule surgery in early March. The one in the left eye will probably be ready for removal in late summer, early fall. I can not believe the technology used for examning the eye today. Dr. Chu's staff were so friendly and made me feel at ease.
Thanks, Kim Klaver for the comment to my blog of January 14th. You truly are an inspiration.
Lastnight I spent some time with the new Growth Pro sight and listened to the CEO, advise on how to begin the system. I have ordered the Success Package, ordered leads, wrote down a contact sheet and need to work on newspaper ads and sticky notes.
In the meantime I am reading my SEOBook and Dave Ramseys Complete Money Makeover.
Until nextime, Blessings and have a great week.

Eyes/Nutraview

Today was ever so long sitting in the office of Chu Vision Institute with my hubby. After 3 1/2 hours of tests the prognosis is cataracts and surgery is scheduled in February. Two different dates. One eye to be done on the 5th and the other on the 19th. Tomorrow I go in for the same round of tests to check out my eyes for AMD and cataracts. I am anxious to see if I have any improvement since visiting the optometrist in November. He then told me that I have cataracts and age related Macular Degeneration. I started taking the product NutraView and have not had the floaters that I had been bothered with for quite a number of years. Oh the joys of getting "older". Notice I say older and not old! Dr. Chu from Chu Vision Institute is world renown and comes highly recommended. I watched a video of the procedures used for the removal of cataracts, lasik surgery and also learned that for $4000.00 one can have a new lens put in that would completely elimanate eye glasses. Its tempting for both Del and I but then we must be practical.
It was very cold today. Really makes one want to stay inside. I have to start working on my new Networking System from Success Products. I think it will be a real asset to the business.
I purchased a ebook, written by Aaron Wall. Its called SEOBook. All about network marketing, blogging etc etc. A blogger by the name of Kim Klaver has been very helpful along with Ann Seig who wrote The Renegade System. They have taught me that there is no such thing as a exclusive customer or an exclusive lead. The follow up process is still up to me...
I am going to keep reading, learning and practicing.

Getting Fit

What a struggle it is to keep the pounds off. This holiday season was hard to keep the weight in check. Now to get serious about exercise which is basically walking and using the chi machine. Also do some weight lifting. I have just ordered a new product that tastes much like a salted nut roll. Can you immagine it being good for you then? They also have shakes in three different flavors that I am going to try. My goal is to lose 30 pounds by July 1st so will keep you posted as to my progress. I will be going on a conference call tonight at 9 pm. to learn about a new marketing system. Excited about that. Will report about it in my next post.

Enhancing Lives 4U

My goodness. This has been on the shelf for much longer than I planned. Alot of things happening on the homefront and so now that the holidays are over it will be good to get back on track. Have meetings for my business and small group meeting once a week. This is a group of friends that I meet with to share our Christian faith. We just finished a study by Beth Moore on The Patriarchs. It was very interesting and Beth is a great speaker and teacher.

Tonight I have a conference call and Wednesday a Webinar to listen in on. A great way to learn the new way to Network Marketing. I purchased a book at Kim Klavers recommendation. It is called SEOBOOK by Aaron Wall. It is an ebook so am printing it out, thirty pages at a time. Believe there are about three hundred and fifty pages. This has so much helpful information.

I am starting a book called The Total Makeover by Dave Ramsey. It is New York Times bestseller. The book is about a proven plan for financial fitness. I think we all can use some help with that. I have lots of reading to do so will sign off for this time.
